Far Unattainable Sky: December 2010

Through my research, I believe when the world was created, God created two people Adam and Eve. Since then we are so many people on the planet as you can imagine, the way we live on this planet, we are on a journey. We live one generation after another. It has come to the point, men cannot control themselves, but they still think they can. Life is mysterious. Sometimes, we have a lot of variations among human beings in this life. Believe me, we are all animals. Sometimes when we are born, some are born with one leg, some are born with one eye, some are born with eight limbs, such as that child,
Lakshmi in India. Some are born with two heads. We do see all these things. Some are born with both male and female genitals, some are born with two vaginas, like that woman in London that we saw on Tyra Banks' show. She doesn't hide it.

And also, some people are born heterosexual and some are born homosexual. These homosexual people in America are called "gay." In other countries "gay" means "merry," but in America it means homosexual. Gay women are usually called lesbians, after the island of Lesbos where the gay lady poet Sappho lived.

These homosexual people are really not any different from everybody else. We are all struggling through to our final destination in life. We all want to have food on the table, a roof over our head and a mate to love and cherish. What is now happening in America, a bunch of Federal politicians who do not understand what is life and have dirty minds, are trying to weaken our military by denying our lesbian and gay citizens their right to serve. They think only about sex. Believe me, I don't hate anybody, but this group, led by Sen. John McCain (R-Az), are motivated by pure evil bigotry.

They are still holding colonial mentality. I do not understand why American people cannot say, "Enough is enough!" If gay and lesbian people want to join the United States Armed Forces, if they are willing to fight and die for their country, why should they not be allowed this access? Why should they be denied the right to persue this way of life, a military career, if that is what they desire? The United States has an all-volunteer military and is currently fighting two wars (Iraq isn't over) and needs all the man- and woman-power it can muster.

In purely logical terms, it is ridiculous to deny those who want to serve, those who are otherwise qualified, simply because of their sexual orientation. Republicans, you have to bear in mind that this condition of homosexuality exists through all times and throughout the world. Further, you Republicans don't create people. God creates people. I honestly don't know why you are proving to be so stupid as if you were still in the Stone Age. We are heading to the year 2011 and you are still acting like it's 10,000 BCE.

Grow up. Your party is failing. You have no leadership. All you do is act buffoonery in the Congress with your empty brainless heads. Look at yourselves! Telling a woman from Alaska who says she can see Russia from her house that she is qualified to become President in Washington when she is not qualified to be a dogcatcher in Wasilla is pure idiocy. She cannot even keep control of her own children. How could she keep control of a huge country that calls itself a "Superpower"? Believe me, she has money. Yes, all the money she has collected from the tycoons in the oil companies. That is blood money!

Republicans, wake up! Give the leadership to the intelligent, knowledgable young people and do not keep reminding us of your narrow-minded stupidity. You wanted to impeach Pres. Clinton because of a silly sexual indiscretion. I saw you walking to Congress to discuss Monica Lewinsky, with your briefcase in your left hand and your right hand on your intern's butt. It seems your left hand really didn't know what your right hand was doing. You have no moral values, only hypocrisy where you should have honour and integrity.

This country has suffered through 12 years of Bush Presidencies, encompassing three wars. Our young military men and women are not robots. Enough is enough. Our military has enough problems right now. We do not need another sex scandal like you are bringing in with the gays and lesbians. They are better than most of you in Congress. They have brains, they have courage, they have determination. May I ask you Republican men this question: When they go for training, do they go to study how to be a soldier or do they go to study sex? You are idiots! I have never seen a war where people fight with male or female organs, they use guns and bombs and grenades. Believe me! There is not any war I have seen where I heard of a penis shooting a rifle or a vagina throwing a grenade.

So it is only logical and right to end "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and allow America's patriotic gays and lesbians to serve in the US military, marching proudly beside their heterosexual sisters and brothers. (By the way, you won't be able to tell which is which as they march, as they die and as they come home in body bags.)

Give the gays and lesbians these jobs that they want so much. I am sure they will do us all proud as brave American soldiers.

Watch out, you bigots on the Christian right! Here comes the Christian left!
