GENOCIDE IN TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY AMERICA

As far we understand where America came from, America was occupied by the British and they had 13 colonies here. Finally they came to give up their power to George Washington. That means they did surrender the 13 states to George Washington. What was going on before he took over, there was a lot of hatred. British hated Native Americans. At that time, they were known as Indians; Christopher Columbus gave them that name. In the long run they came to be known as the First Nations of the United States of America. America is named after Amerigo Vespucci and we are so proud to be called Americans. Most Americans don't know where this name came from. Amerigo Vespucci was a copilot of Columbus. They introduced this country to the whole world as America.



Now what went on and on in those days continues on until today. There was a lot of hatred which we can call "Anatomy of Hate." This came in because the Native Americans fought for their own land so hard. Even today they have their own reservations, for they did not give up.




What came next was slavery. Slaves were imported from Africa by the Caucasians, who are known as White people today. All the slaves from Africa came to be known as Black people. Caucasians caused a lot of bloodshed to the Native Americans and to the Black people imported from Africa. Were these people being regarded as human beings? No. They were to be used by the Caucasians like animals. It came to this point we are now, year 2009, where the country developed so much. These three peoples are still in turmoil. They did not like each other. What was called Black was a slave. In other words, a nigger. What was the Natives called? Injuns and Red man. Caucasians were holy; they were the best. They were called White.



Now what we are facing today in the 21st century, it is the hatred which occurred in early days.The Caucasians divided people into three groups, rich, middle class and poor. What we are facing today is cleaning up after the kakistocracy of George W. Bush. During his adminstration, there was no leadership in America. If you didn't have money in America then and you were White, you were White trash. If you didn't have money and you were Black, you were a nigger. Did the White trash and the niggers have value in America according to the rich White people? They had no value. Niggers and White trash came to have families, they could not have health care, for health care was only for White rich people. The country came to be divided by rich people.


Because they do not have proper health care, the poor people are dying in large numbers. This is the genocide of 21st century America, the killing of the under privileged class. Why do I say this? You cannot tell me it is only in America where women are born with breast cancer. Nobody is born having cancer; they get cancer because there is no health care. People are denied health care in all states in America, for if you go to an emergency room and you don't have insurance, you can die on a couch. This happened to a women in California who died of what had been minor internal bleeding. She was not treated, the bleeding got worse and worse and she died without ever being treated because she had no insurance. Let me ask you this, Canada take care of their own people, healthwise. British take care of their own people healthwise. The entire industrialised world take care of their own people healthwise. Why not in America? Health care is compulsory for American people, for we are all Americans. It is not only for rich people. I do see young men and women go for unnecessary wars. When they come back to America, their health is not taken care of. I have seen many who returned from Vietnam; most of them have mental impairment and they are regarded as garbage by the government. I see many now coming from Afghanistan and Iraq and the same thing! Their health, physical and mental, is in jeopardy. Most of them come home in body bags, which is regarded as a scholarship. Those who come back home mentally disturbed, there is no way out for them. No one is willing to help them. This was especially true during the Bush Administration. I am very happy for our new President's wife, Michelle Obama, has decided to deal with military families who have lost their husbands and I really do give credit to President and Mrs. Obama for that.


We have a President who is fighting hard for every American to have access to health care. Whenever he calls these old bigots in the Congress, they say too much money is being spent. To my thinking, how can you spend billions of dollars raining bombs on Iraq and Afghanistan, which is costing so much money, and you cannot even think of helping your own people.


You have spent so much money killing people in other countries, which could be even one-third of what our President is asking for health care. You are denying healthcare to your own children. You have to bring a healthy generation which will bring another generation for tomorrow. You are only humiliating people, punishing them. putting them in jails, and it is because you introduced poverty in America.



Are we going to help our new President who is so eager to help us for health care and for poor children to have education and he is also trying to end poverty. That means he can empty the jails of people who have committed no crime except being poor. There is no other country having so many people in jail as in America. It is because of poverty. This is a cover up genocide in America, genocide of the spirit, than we do see in Darfur or in Somalia. American, young people, Wake up! Enough is enough!
